Working draft. This wording is a plain-English placeholder for Jay to replace with his final policy before launch. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
What we collect
When you enter Build Room we collect your first name, email address, and mobile number, along with the consent choices you make. If you become a member we also store your subscription status and the billing identifiers our payment processor returns. We never store your card details.
How we use it
Your details are used to recognize you when you return, to give members access to protected files, to answer questions you send to Jay, and, only with your consent, to send release announcements by email or text.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the services that run Build Room: our payment processor for billing, our email provider for email, and our text-message provider for SMS. We do not sell your information and we do not publish member lists.
Your choices
You can change your email and text preferences at any time in your account, unsubscribe from any marketing email, or reply STOP to any text. To request a copy of your data or ask for it to be deleted, contact Jay through your Build Room messages.
Security
Member files are stored privately and released only after a server-side membership check. Private messages between you and Jay are visible only to you and Jay.
