Build Room, operated by Build Something Co, uses limited, necessary browser storage. It does not currently use advertising or third-party analytics trackers.

Member and visitor recognition
Build Room uses a signed, first-party recognition cookie for up to 30 days so the service can identify your contact or membership record, protect downloads, and remember that you have entered the room. The cookie is protected from browser scripts and does not contain payment-card details.
Authentication and owner access
Authentication sessions are stored in browser local storage so signed-in members remain signed in. A separate signed, short-lived cookie protects creator-only areas. These technologies are necessary for account and security functions.
Preferences
A functional cookie may remember an interface preference such as whether a sidebar is open. It is not used to build an advertising profile.
Analytics
Build Room does not currently install third-party analytics or advertising trackers. This policy will be updated before any such technology is introduced.
Payments
When Stripe checkout is enabled, Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to run checkout, prevent fraud, and process payment. Stripe's own privacy and cookie terms apply on its payment surfaces.
Your controls
You can remove or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in, member recognition, checkout, downloads, private messages, or preferences from working.
